Building monitoring - iMod with 1-Wire interface

Building monitoring - iMod with 1-Wire interface.

Distributed temperature sensors, humidity alarm fire protection and access control (opening doors, windows) are just fundamental to their permanent position in building services installations.

Using iMod with a 1-Wire interface allows you to control all these elements in a single device. This solution combines the use of wireless communication technologies such as GPRS / EDGE and wired communication via the LAN to access the data collected. It is possible alerting via SMS, send e-mails, viewing the current status via a web interface, built-in Dynamics NX or downloading data via FTP client. Implemented in the device communication protocols such as SNMP and Modbus monitoring can extend the functionality of an object view of ICT infrastructure, CCTV and visualization of air conditioning systems.

Examples of iMod telemetry module uses in other issues:

  • Temperature and humidity reading via WWW, SMS, e-mail,

  • Monitoring of environmental conditions (temperature and humidity) in the areas of IT, in which the device operating telecommunications systems (servers, telephone systems, Uninterruptible Power Supply),

  • Monitoring the temperature inside the server racks, telecommunication racks, etc.,

  • The food industry - to monitor and record temperature and humidity in warehouses, cold rooms, refrigerating,

  • The pharmaceutical industry - to monitor and record drug storage conditions in cold stores, warehouses,

  • Surveillance of the working conditions of info-kiosks, ATMs, installation underground,

  • Buildings - optimization of heating and air conditioning.
